In 2019, Love Saves the Day (LSTD) carbon- balanced the CO2e emissions from all of their audience shuttle buses to and from the festival and three key stops in nearby Bristol’s City Centre, with investment in renewable energy through ecolibrium’s Energy Revolution programme. In total they balanced the carbon emissions from 90 round bus trips, carrying 3000 people each day, from the main train station to the festival site.
In 2020 Love Saves the Day teamed up with Bristols food network to put on Breaking Bread – a socially distanced pop up dining and drinking experience on The Downs. For this event they went beyond travel carbon balancing to address emissions from energy and water too. Read more about that HERE.
