2000trees, UK (capacity 10,000) reduce car journeys to the event by encouraging festival-goers to choose public transport; they work with Great Western Railway to provide low cost travel and with Big Green Coach to run a shuttle bus service from the nearest large train station – and a dedicated coach service from Bristol and London. To acknowledge emissions from cars they add a £3 charge to car parking passes; 100% of these donations go directly to supporting community-led community-benefit projects that generate clean renewable energy, with ecolibrium. In 2019, 2000trees also recorded their production carbon footprint and retrospectively offset the past seven years of production travel emissions. Find out more at www.2000trees.co.uk.
