Novo Amor

Welsh multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer Novo Amor aka Ali Lacey worked with ecolibrium’s Energy Revolution Programme to record and balance the carbon emissions from his tour with investment in renewable energy projects.

Novo Amor released his debut album ‘Birthplace’ in Oct 2018, the video for the eponymous title track featured a13-meter long model of a whale, which was made from plastic collected by school children, who received books in return for their donations. The stunning video sends a powerful message about the effect humans are having on the natural world; encouraging viewers to appreciate the beauty in the music and the video but also consider how their use of plastic is impacting the planet. The video was shot in Komodo and Bali, Indonesia, with production duo Sil and Jorik and stars renowned freediver Micheal Board as the ‘figure of humanity.’
